THE ATMOSPHERE
Hoeve la Cascina is situated between Ghent and Kortrijk, in the beautiful countryside of East Flanders. Surrounded by fields, the hotel is an old farmhouse that has been transformed into a luxurious wellness area . Inspired by their many travels to destinations such as Marrakech and Zanzibar, the owners have brought these flavours and colors back into their hotel.
THE HOTEL
The hotel has 10 rooms of different ranges, a luminous breakfast room, a garden and a terrace. A natural swimming pool filtered by plants is also available to all hotel guests. The sand bed and palm trees surrounding the pool will make you feel far away from Belgium. Some of the rooms are surprising. Indeed, the two suites "Spa & Wellness" offer a unique and exclusive experience with their private spa: sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. Or, the loft, unique of its kind, is located in the roofs of the farmhouse and has the peculiarity of having a kitchen, a living room, a dining room. Pleasant and bright, it is a place where we can imagine ourselves living.
THE service
For sport lovers, it is also possible to borrow bicycles to discover the region, or to visit Ghent.
For the non-residents of the hotel, the spa and wellness center can be privatized, only before 18:00.
The recently restored barn of the old farmhouse is used as a venue for private and business events for up to 80 people.
THE hosts
Hoeve La Cascina is owned by Eline and her husband, Frank de Mulder, a renowned Belgian photographer, whose works of art can be found in the hotel. Eline is the conductor of the hotel and Frank is a great ally, a lover of architecture and decoration. It is together that they imagined the renovation and decoration of the place.
In addition to being a young entrepreneur and an outstanding cook, Eline produces her own natural care products, available in the hotel's rooms.
