LA CABANE DU VOYAGEUR
IN BRIEF
In November 2021, this beautiful cabin opens its doors to lovers of glamping experiences, nature and peace.
Discovering and enjoying La Cabane du Voyageur means finding yourself in simplicity and comfort.
Simple, uncluttered and tasteful, the cabin offers a magnificent view of the Namur village of Spontin, near Yvoir and Durbuy.

THE HOST - THE SERVICE
This is the first hospitality project for Maxence, the owner of the cabin, who tells us that the idea came to him after his trip to Canada where he discovered the benefits of unusual accommodation. The cabin must be a friendly place, simple and without too much fuss, hence its very reasonable price. Within its 26m2 of surface (without the terrace), you will find a first floor with a bathtub opened on the living room corner, a table for two, a washbasin/kitchen corner. A mezzanine is accessible by a wooden ladder and houses a bed with white linen sheets.

SUSTAINABILITY
The cabin, designed by an architect, was built with all types of untreated wood and was insulated from outside temperatures. Many materials and decorations were recovered to furnish the exterior and interior of the cabin. The dish cleaning products at disposal are ecological. The only remark we would have is about the use of an electric heater which will probably be replaced by a stove in the future.

THE LITTLE EXTRA
As a lover of local products, Maxence offers a breakfast with local organic jam, freshly squeezed fruit juice, cold cuts from a local store and pastries from an excellent local bakery. It is not possible to prepare or heat up a hot dish for the evening, but Maxence recommends good restaurants in the area such as L'Éphémère.
