La Carrière is the story of a couple of artists and architecture enthusiasts who have endless projects to do. Their house, their garden and their different projects have conquered us all, without exception, for their elegance, modernity and modularity. The furniture of famous designers and works of art contribute to the unique character of the place. La Carrière is quite simply a paradise: very pretty, clean and neat.
In the middle of a country lane, you will find the pretty house of Anne and Jean-Luc around which two gites and an event space have gradually developed. A first gite for two people has been built in the old mill, "Les Duves", which looks like a modern loft. It has a sauna and showers. On the other side of the country road is the second gite, in an old train station, "La Station". Designed by the Belgian architect Stéphane Lebrun from the Kyoto studio, the gite is soberly decorated around the theme of the train. The size of a house that can accommodate 8 people, the gite opens onto a terrace overlooking a garden and fields. In the garden there is a small wooden bunk, modern and built, which can accommodate 4 additional people. Materials such as concrete, blue stone and wood predominate.
For the past year, the couple has also been involved in event planning and offers a beautiful wedding venue for 130 people.
