Hemelhuys is located at the end of a pedestrian alley in the historical centre of Hasselt. It will be waiting for you with the door open. This narrow house from 1910 hides a real haven of peace with large & bright common areas (breakfast room and living room) but above all an attractive terraces and a small garden.
Hemelhuys has been decorated with attention and taste. Ann and Liesbeth have successfully brought their soul and taste in the place offering a harmonious mix of conviviality, authenticity and design.
The hotel offers 8 rooms of different sizes. They are sober, luminous and colourful decorated with design and authentic accessories. Finally, Families are welcome.
THE HOST - THE SERVICE
Ann and Liesbeth, are the two friends at the roots of this nice hotel in the centre of Hasselt. They embody friendliness and will give you a warm welcome. Breakfast is included and generous. Ann and Liesbet have prepared a city tour with all the local and genuine shops in Hasselt for you. As well as help you find a nice place to eat amongs the countless restaurants in Hasselt. The bedding is 100% cotton.
SUSTAINABILITY
Efforts to respect the environment are manifold. When preparing breakfast, Anne and Liesbeth try to get as much local and organic products as possible. The bread, the yoghurt and marmalade are all home-made. In every room you will find organic cosmetics from the Swedish brand L:A BRUKET, glass bottles of water from Stella Maris. The cleaning products used are of the EcoVer brand. Finally, a heat pump system is used to heat the establishment.
THE LITTLE EXTRA
