THE ATMOSPHERE
It is on the banks of the Meuse river near Profondeville that you will find this beautiful and imposing white mansion. As soon as you step into the entrance hall, you will notice the undeniable refinement: everything is beautiful, new and clean. Formerly a family home, it was completely renovated to open its doors as a charming 4-star hotel in September 2020. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, the historic moldings are covered with modern colors, the rooms are spacious and the decoration reflects the environment in which the hotel is located: water and nature.
THE HOTEL
The hotel has 6 large and beautiful rooms, each one is named after a namuroise celebrity. As the name suggests, the hotel is a little bit like a jewel of the Namur region or at least the flagship place of Profondeville. The common areas are divided into a string of rooms named "ette" such as "salle coquette", "kitchenette", etc., a rhyming game on which the owners like to play. A luminous library is also available on the top floor of the hotel, which can also be used as a seminar room.
THE SERVICE
Two bicycles are available in the "bicyclette" room for the price of 15€ per bicycle for half a day. The honesty bar in the “coquette” room contains many Belgian products such as Lucien chips or Namur tea Le Fossé Fleuri. It is even possible to order wine by the glass via a D-vine machine, something never seen before. Breakfast is also served in this room, in the form of a buffet. Nathalie takes care of serving you fresh and warm bread, fresh cheese from La Voie Lactee, organic cereals and yoghurt, eggs by the minute, fresh orange juice and many other delicious and local things as well of course!
THE HOSTS
Transforming this mansion into a luxury boutique hotel is a dream come true for Nathalie and Tom, a couple from the Namur region. This project is a little bit their 5th child for which they give a lot of love, passion and dynamism. Generous and welcoming, they will take care of you to perfection and with the required discretion.
SUSTAINABILITY
THE LITTLE EXTRA
It is rare to discover such a beautiful place that welcomes children of all ages. At the hotel Vedette, it's like at home and everyone is welcome.
The bubbles served for breakfast are not an exception but the rule.
We forget to mention the pretty garden at the back of the building with its suspended terrace on which breakfast is served on sunny days.
