INDRANI LODGE
One
of the most beautiful hotel discovery: a true piece of heaven.
An inspiring and high quality ecosystem in Belgium
THE ATMOSPHERE
It is in the rural setting of the small village of Loupoigne that this gem is hidden. Originally it was a farm called "La Ferme de la Basse Cour". It was bought in 1996 and renovated for three years, as a house and then converted into a bed and breakfast. As we entered the blue wooden carriage gate, we discovered the square courtyard of the farm where there is a true feeling of peace. At the Indrani Lodge, respect of the land and its terroir is paramount and is in perfect harmony with the lodge and its occupants. Everything revolves around human well-being, whether it be through physical activity, sleep, nutrition or mindfulness. For people who are sensitive to the environment, you will be delighted by the choice of high quality products which are all, without any exception, eco-friendly. The name Indrani Lodge comes from the combination of the two names of the owners’ daughters: India and Noa. To this, we can add the Afro-Indian influence that they appreciate and that we find abundantly in their decoration and in the yoga classes that they have on offer.
THE HOTEL
Although the farmhouse is large, the hotel only has five rooms, which gives you a hint as to how big they each are. The "Loft" is an example of this, with its surface area of 220m2, it covers the entire roof of one wing of the farmhouse. Within the hotel, the feelings of sharing and conviviality are echoed throughout. Works of art and quality furniture are scattered throughout the different living and dining rooms of the farm. There is a row of vaulted rooms which offer a spectacular view of the magnificent gardens where you can spot five alpacas. It is with the wool of these alpacas that the hotel's bedspreads and bed duvets are made.
THE service
At the lodge, everyone is encouraged to live their experiences at their own pace and choose whether to participate in the activities on offer. The Lodge offers a wide variety of activities: a spectacular swimming pool in a barn, walking trails alongside edible plants, discovering the vegetable garden with Rainer (the permaculturist), yoga classes, a sauna as well as excellent food prepared by Sebath, former sous-chef of the famous restaurant "Bon Bon". He is the one who prepares the "home-made" breakfast (always included) with his sourdough bread, apple juice, jams and spreads.
